Spark Broadband

Digital technology can make a significant, positive impact on our nation's social and economic wellbeing – enabling stronger, safer, more connected communities (even in the most remote rural areas), opening more opportunities for our children (regardless of their socio-economic backgrounds), and improving health outcomes for New Zealanders of all ages and walks of life.

It can enable Kiwi companies to compete - and win - on the world stage and become smarter, more agile businesses by harnessing all the benefits of new technologies such as Cloud services and the Internet of Things.

Spark's success is dependent on our customers in one key market: New Zealand. That's why we're passionate about using technology to be truly useful to our customers, helping make our country better and enriching the lives of all New Zealanders. We want to be the most valued brand in the home, and the most trusted partner for business.

Spark make it difficult to cancel a service by design, further more the process requires the customer to provide feed back before they will act. They then follow up with automated platitude emails. They purport to offer customer service but their people are driven my management dictates within inflexible systems. If you can avoid Spark with an alternate supplier I recommend you do.
Pros
It worked
Cons
They are horrendous to deal with

Spark is a company that doesn’t give their customers the best bang for their buck. They rip customers off. I don’t recommend them at all.
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Too expensive. No value for money. Outsourced customer service reps who can’t even speak English properly.

Prices continue to be increased which has me looking for a service change. Realised I am being charged more for 100/50 than most companies are charging for 300/100! Poor value for money these days so am definitely changing providers
Pros
Has worked without issue for three years.
Cons
Poor value for money.
