For the past week our internet has been patchy, coming on and off, both on wifi and on the wired connection to the PC. We keep rebooting the modem but it doesn't fix the problem. We have naked broadband, unlimited data and although Spark gave us a good deal (lower than advertised) to keep us as customers, if it doesn't actually do the job then it's not good value.

It was already set up.
It doesn't work. The wifi is patchy and the service keeps coming on and off, which makes chrome-casting movies and TV shows a frustrating nightmare.
This has now been ongoing for about a week.

ADSL is ludicrously expensive in NZ, and Spark isn't exactly the cheapest ISP.
Reasonably reliable connection and usually decent speed for ADSL.
Expensive, endless waiting queues in phone support.

Very poor service from spark. Some customer rep don't know what they are talking about. I just moved house and the reps I was dealing with said I will have my connection within a day. The last rep I dealt with said it could take as long as a month may be longer and offered me a wifi 4g modem connection at my cost which still takes a week to arrive. very very disappointed with the way they handled my house moving case. Speed was good.
Customer service is ver very poor. As per my comments above there is no consistancy flow of info to the customers.
Moving house is a pain with Spark.

The worst product and service possible.
In a fair world this provider would be out of business and facing court for not fulfilling contract
Cannot provide what they promise and outsource their support, so the customer cannot access assistance that can be understood.
