Worst company choice you could pick, once they have your money you matter next to nothing. Not reliable like at all. Lie about things, hang up on you alot, expensive compared. No support. Honestly anyone other company at all would be better for you
Pros
No longer with them
Cons
Everything about them

We were happy enough with the broadband overall but it was a real hassle getting it installed. They gave us a good deal on a one year contract (6 months half price) but at the end of the one year, we were paying $105 per month which is well above the market rate. They were unwilling to give us any sort of discount, or switch us to a cheaper plan without us agreeing to be locked in for another 12 months.

Spark fault reset of everything needed. Because I have my own high power modem they cannot help. The help desk is a chat bot....what a pain. I had to call a tech in to fix and reset...lots of time wasted and money spent. Sorry Spark I'm gone

I am currently on the Spark mobile broadband because when I enquired about fibre three years ago I was told that it wouldn't be available in Te Puke in the foreseeable future. Two months later the government announced the roll out that is now taking place.
Pros
Wifi broadband is certainly an improvement over the previous copper wire telephone/broadband system.
Cons
An occasional glitch or overload of the mobile spectrum.

Spark Broadband Plans – Price rises and data increases
Spark, one of the big two broadband providers in New Zealand has announced a raft of changes to its broadband plans as it responds to the changing demands of a data hungry nation that New Zealand has become.  There was a press release today that announced Spark has responded to growing demand for data by increasing broadband plan allowances by 50%... however this does also mean a change to some prices.
