absolutely no info sent about connection setup with my own router and no email setup until i mentioned it and was told that voip could be used on a POTS line without an ATA (absolute B/S)

I had world net internet for a year or two and the speed was horrible.
Costomer service was fine.
The diwnloading speed is the worst ever. Unbelievable is low speed. As I switched to Slingshot, The download speed got 5 times faster. I don't know how. The plan I had with Worldnet should be 5 times faster than the lowe ...read more

Have been with Worldnet for ten years, firstly on ADSL and then fibre as soon as it became available. Friendly, helpful company with competitive pricing. Very responsive to telephone requests for support. Fluent call-takers on staff who speak English, Chinese and Korean
Outstanding personal support during their opening hours. This is a smallish company, not some faceless corporate with a foreign call center.
Office is open Mon-Fri 9am-7pm, Sat 9am-3pm and closed Sunday, so if you have a problem or lose your internet and/or phone service outside these times then there is no support at all and you must wait until they re-open.

Switched to WorldNet in my 1st house from Vodafone. Happy days started. Finally, I was satisfied with my Internet connection.
PS VDSL line
- fast connection
- rather good and fast support (comparing Vodafone)
- price is not very high
- not much additional options were offered (for instance, static IP is a major thing for me)
