Slingshot Broadband

slingshot broadband nz

From the start, Slingshot has been challenging the telco industry and fighting to give New Zealand families better value broadband, supported by amazing service.

Slingshot NZ know that in the modern world, it is crucial to stay online, but they also know how confusing it might be to get online. They have worked hard to make Slingshot easy, affordable and hassle-free – because this guys know you have other important things to do and spend your time on than sorting your internet.

They are dedicated to making broadband simple, affordable, easy to use, and cover the needs of a modern family – whether they are intensely streaming videos, gaming all day, or just spending their time on Facebook.

Slingshot broadband is part of the Vocus Group of companies.

Slingshot Broadband offer ultrafast Fibre & Naked Broadband Plans for New Zealand.

They have a range of different broadband plans available. Some of their broadband plans include a home phone line whilst other broadband plans are like Naked Broadband and don't have a home telephone line.

The type of broadband connection you can get depends on your address and area. They offer all types of broadband connection, Fibre, VDSL and ADSL dependant on what is available in your broadband region.

Tried to get fibre but slingshot kept interfering in the process making it take weeks longer than necessary, billed me for the service before connection, cut my phone off and to top it all off the only "customer support" is emailing back and forth getting bizarre replies with nothing to do with the original queries.

They Cut off broadband and phone with only 24 hr notice only warning was automated. I had been paying $100 a month so had no idea the account was in arrears. No email warning. No email statements only way to check is online. I have a St. John’s medical alert so was very worried about not having it on. They made me resign when My daughter rang to follow up what happened and about terms and conditions was told to go to the website. waited 3 days still no phone or internet so cancelled with slingshot. Terrible customer service ...read more

After being with Spark for years they put their price up so much. I wanted to keep the old landline as well and Slingshot offered a good deal that Spark weren't interested in matching. Friends had warned to stay away from Slingshot but I signed up 3 months ago anyway. The communication and change over was so smooth, the phone was only off for 10 mins and the ADSL internet speed is just as fast and reliable as before. Their service must have definitely improved lately. I can recommend Slingshot to anyone. I can't comment on their help line because I haven't needed it. ...read more
