BroadbandCompare.co.nz cashback promotion Terms and Conditions

Broadband Compare is a trading name of Global Compare Group Limited

  1. The participant (the “Participant”) of this cashback promotion (“Promotion”) must be resident in New Zealand and agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Terms”) in order to participate.
  2. To qualify for this Promotion the Participant must subscribe to the 2degrees Ultimate Unlimited Plan (“Plan”) through the Broadband Compare Call Centre on 0508 2COMPARE (0508 226672).
  3. This Promotion runs from Friday 29 November 2019 until 12pm Saturday 20 November.  Purchases must be made in New Zealand through the Broadband Compare Call Centre and completed before 12 noon Saturday 20 November.  Our call centre operating hours during this Promotion are 0900 – 1700 Friday 29 November and 0900 – 1200 Saturday 30 November.  Naturally, we promise to work through your calls as quickly as we can.  However, due to a finite number of call centre agents available to take calls during this period, if you are unable to complete your signup during these times you will NOT qualify for the Promotion.
  4. To claim the $50 cash back, the Participant must visit http://www.broadbandcompare.co.nz/p/cashback and submit the required information via email to broadband@nzcompare.com including (but not limited to) their name, address, email, telephone number, 2Degrees ISP customer number and any relevant sign up details as requested by Broadband Compare.  To complete the claim process.  Participants will also be required to email a copy of their first monthly bill to broadband@nzcompare.com. These pieces of information will be verified by Broadband Compare to its sole satisfaction and discretion. 
  5. All claim of the Promotion (“Claim”) must be received by Broadband Compare within 60 days of signing up via Broadband Compare for the Plan.  Broadbandcompare.co.nz accepts no responsibility for Claims not received by the deadline and any claim received after the deadline will not be processed.
  6. The invoice/bill must clearly specify the name, address and broadband plan of the Participant.  If the invoice/bill is missing any of the information required by Broadband Compare or is illegible or indecipherable it may render the Participant ineligible to claim for cashback.  Should Broadband Compare be unable to read any information required for the Promotion to be fulfilled, we will endeavour to contact the Participant via email. Again, it is the responsibility of the Participant to provide the required information.
  7. Upon successful verification of the information, Broadband Compare will issue the payment via EFT or PayPal within 30 Days of receipt of all evidence reasonably required by Broadband Compare for a valid claim.  It is the responsibility of the Participant to provide the correct PayPal address or bank details for EFT.  If incorrect bank account details or PayPal address is provided then this will also render the Participant ineligible to claim.  Payments are not transferable, assignable or exchangeable for other goods or services.
  8. Participants must retain a copy of their bill/invoice as proof of sign up.  Failure to produce the bill/invoice if requested may, in the absolute discretion of Broadband Compare, result in invalidation of ALL of a Participant’s claims and forfeiture of any right to cash back. The Participant agrees that if they have already obtained the cash back, they will pay back the Broadband Compare the value of the cash back, if they subsequently cancel their Plan and seek a refund under any cancellation policy that the 2degrees may have.
  9. This offer is made by Global Compare Group Limited t/a Broadband Compare directly to Participants who purchase the Plan. Although Broadband Compare is specifically authorised to make this cash back offer on behalf of 2 degrees, any claims must be made directly to Broadband Compare and Broadband Compare retains exclusive responsibility for meeting any such claims. This offer is additional to and does not replace any of the legal rights of a consumer against a manufacturer or a supplier under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (if applicable) and/or any other relevant legislation in force at the time of sign up.
  10. Broadband Compare collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion.  You authorise Broadband Compare to use such personal information for operational, promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the Participant. Participants should direct any requests to access, update or correct their personal information to Broadband Compare.   Broadband Compare’s privacy policy may be viewed at http://www.broadbandcompare.co.nz/p/privacy-policy
  11. Only 1 claim may be made per qualifying Plan purchased and claimed in accordance with these terms. Fraudulent claims may result in legal action being taken.
  12. Employees of Global Compare Group Limited t/a Broadband Compare and 2degrees are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.
  13. Claims for this cash back Promotion cannot be accepted from those who purchase the Plan for the purposes of commercial resale or commercial use.
  14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the Promotion. Independent financial advice should be sought by the Participant at their own cost if they require it.
  15. Broadband Compare reserves the right to terminate this Promotion at any time and to change or update these Terms unilaterally without incurring any liability.
  16. Broadband Compare will not be liable for any failure to fulfil this Promotion owing to circumstances reasonably beyond its control as determined in its sole discretion.
  17. Broadband Compare will not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature in relation to this Promotion to the maximum extent permitted by law.
  18. Broadband Compare has absolute discretion over whether a Participant meets qualifying criteria for cash back. There is no right of appeal.
  19. This Promotion is promoted by Global Compare Group Limited t/a Broadband Compare (www.BroadbandCompare.co.nz), 13 Mark Edward Drive, Half Moon Bay, Auckland, 2012.  BroadbandCompare.co.nz will not be liable for any lost or misdirected physical or electronic mail.
  20. This Promotion cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other Broadband Compare promotion, including other cash back promotions or rewards program.
  21. These terms are governed by New Zealand Law and any contractual or non-contractual obligation arising out of or in connection with it are subject the sole jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
