MyRepublicNZ. Static IP / DNS Issue

We've Identified a DNS issue for some of our customers with Static IP's. We will provide an update once our engineers have identified any issue. Please refer to our network status page for updates. 

 

For a temporary fix, change your router to Google's DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. 

 

For the TP Link, open a browser and type 192.168.0.1. Type 'admin' into password form, and then click on 'Network' on the left. Click 'Advanced' click 'Set DNS Server Manually' and type'8.8.8.8' into DNS server, and then 8.8.4.4 into Secondary DNS Server. 

 

For the Netcomm routers, open a browser and type '192.168.20.1' Type 'admin' into username and password. Click on 'advanced setup' then click on 'DNS'. Select the button 'Use the following Static DNS IP address' and then type '8.8.8.8' into Primary, and then '8.8.4.4' into Secondary.
