Vodafone Broadband is one of the biggest broadband providers in New Zealand.

Vodafone has a range of different Vodafone broadband plans available including some plans for Vodafone Ultrafast Fibre Broadband and Vodafone broadband packages with different data limits and variable speeds.

Vodafone offers all types of broadband connection: Vodafone Fibre, Vodafone VDSL and Vodafone ADSL dependant on what is available in your broadband region.

Vodafone Standard Broadband is a what they describe as a fast reliable ADSL broadband throughout New Zealand whilst Vodafone VDSL Broadband is 3x faster than standard Vodafone ADSL broadband.

The other Vodafone broadband connection that they have available is Vodafone Ultra Fast Broadband which has speeds of up to 200Mbps, although this is only available in parts of New Zealand where the Ultra Fast Fibre broadband network has been completed. You can use Broadband Compare to see if Vodafone Fibre Broadband is available at your address.

Vodafone often offers Vodafone promo codes or Vodafone discount offers for new customers so be sure to compare all Vodafone broadband plans on Broadband Compare to find the best Vodafone broadband deal available.

Issue with Chorus follow up and their seems to be a disconnect with their communication with Vodafone regarding reason for fault. Have been with Vodafone for the past 6 years and have only recently experienced trouble when upgraded to a new plan bundle.

Pros:

Sales team offered me competitive plan pricing.

Cons:

The last 12 mths have seen me make 10-15 calls regarding broadband or landline faults. A chorus technician was sent out everytime to make repairs to the line. I have highlighted to Vodafone call centre that a reveiw of Chorus technician follow up may need to happen because there still is no satisfactory resolution of our issue. Vodafone just say thats an issue I have to take up with chorus which Im more then willing to do however I feel Im a customer of Vodafone for a service that Im not recieving so I feel they have some accountability to mediate for us to understand what is the issue preventing us from gaining good broadband/phone services. I have considered changing providers now because Vodafone don't seem to care that we don't have solution to date but they still accept our $$$. Pity because Iv'e been a customer for 6 years but am making moves to look for better service. ...read more

The slow speed of our adsl broadband can be really frustrating, especially during heavy loading times. I wouldn't even consider live streaming

Pros:

Reliability; not having to change email address; occasional special offers.

Cons:

very slow broadband speed.

Generally OK, seems to be reasonable value for money, but unreliable.

Pros:

We're on unlimited Gigabit FibreX. It's really good when it's working, real world speeds of about 600Mb/s down and 200Mb/s up, which is faster than most servers will ever serve up data. It's faster than the WiFi connections can handle in the house, we can watch multiple full HD streams without issues. You need to connect via a wired gigabit router to really take advantage of the speed. ...read more

Cons:

Here's the thing though; it's been unreliable. Almost every Friday afternoon (who knows why) it goes down and we have to restart the modem and router. Sometimes it does it at other random times. The whole process is a pain in the bum and takes about 10 minutes of waiting for the modem then router to restart. I've contacted Vodafone three times now and nobody seems to know why. I'm confident the issue is at their end as when we were just on the plain old Vodafone (previously Telstra Clear) cable connection with 50mb/s it very rarely went down. We're using the same cable now. ...read more

Like all the big players, they start off well and an ongoing decline to the abyss. Inconsistent service, speeds make you cry switch off for the night. Give em a Wide birth

Pros:

Better than dial up!

Cons:

Evenings and weekends, go watch the rugby.

Woeful support and service from day one. They've repeatedly felt free to change pricing on my plan without consultation and generally just mess me around.

Pros:

Sky TV bundle.

Cons:

Everything other than Sky TV bundle.
