I wouldn't use the services of Vodaphone if they were paying ME to use them. Their broadband is unreliable and drops frequently - even between midnight and 6am. I cancelled my service in late April 2017 and gave a termination date of 17 May 2017. At 8pm on that day the service was still being provided so I rang them and they had forgotten.
The woman said they would cut it off tomorrow (18/5/17) and she would gave me a final amount to pay tomorrow. I went overseas the next day and 2 dats later I received an email with the final amount. I asked my brother to pay the bill but Vodaphone REFUSED his to take his payment. I then had difficulty but I did manage to pay the bill before the due date from my remote location in the world. I then received on the 15/8/17 a bill from Vodaphone for $1.99 for Fixed Line and Broadband charges!! I will not pay this. ...read more

Useless helpdesk, desinterestet Customer Service staff, rude and arrogant

See above plus unreliable, making promises they dont follow through, never ever vodafone again, just terminated my mobile contract as well, got the same deal for 50 % less with slingshot !

Network seems to be one of more stable I've been with, but service is a joke.

Pros:

Reliable broadband with few operational issues

Cons:

Service a joke. Call service tedious, after wading through endless options, often going around in circles, listening to repeated long-winded recordings, even longer waiting times, you end up with a representative with little to no product knowledge, almost incomprehensible accents, and a dogged determination to stick to the script and not listen to you.

It ends up being quicker to do your own research and troubleshooting. Lousy interface between sales outlets and the service side.

I don’t have an issue with performance speed or reliability from my current service provider Vodafone. However I feel that what I am paying is an exorbitant amount for my current service and believe that there must be a better offer available.
My biggest gripe is the customer call centers. They seem to be repetitive waste of time. Issues are not resolved easily. I am at the point where I prefer to avoid calling due to the waste of time incurred.

Pros:

Reliable service speed.
Offers with related services landline Bestmates has a perceived better dollar value.
I feel they perform a good job with email connectivity.

Cons:

The Call Centers are repetitive time wasters. The foreign accented representatives are harder to understand, which makes the experience all the more taxing.
The overall perceived dollar value is medium to low.
