Slingshot have a range of different Slingshot broadband plans available. Some Slingshot broadband plans include a home phone line whilst other broadband plans are like Slingshot Naked Broadband and don't have a home telephone line.

Slingshot routers only offer to 2.4G and not 5G - so Wifi speeds around the house are crap
They want us to upgrade to the $229 plan so we can have 5G
What a fucking joke
I have sent them an email asking them to provide the 5G capable router
Or I will cancel my subscription Request all monies payed be returned and move back to Vodafone to offer 5G
This is akin to theft and most Slingshot customers do know it

Adsl. Worst 9months of my interweb life. Worst connection always dropping out. Slowest speed ive ever had....worst than dial-up 10years ago!! Terrible customer service, went through a 10 part series of testing for Slingshot then they said said it might cost me $240 to look at it??! Paying early disconnection fee and lowering my blood pressure.
They never increased my bill without notice like vodafone did after 6years of loyalty.
This box isnt big enough to list all the negative aspects. You suck balls slingshot. .

Over the 8 years I have been with slingshot I have felt their service has become increasingly less satisfactory. It always takes so long to get hold of them when phoning their call Centre. They are often offering new customers good deals but were not interested in offering me, a long time customer a similar deal so I will go elsewhere now.
Cheap if prepared to be tied in to a contract.

They've been good actually. Only changing due to better deal elsewhere.
No down time in over 3 years
Support has degraded as they got bigger. Went from answering calls straight away to long hold times.

Poor connection often have to turn the router off and on again to reconnect, Recently bought a laptop but cant connect due to there being another device already attached, not good if your living in a house with a few people.

I have been with slingshot broadband for over 8 years and the Broadband has been consistently good.
I haven't had to use their support service, so I don't know how good it is.
The price is competitive
The monthly Data rollover is an awesome feature
Internet service is reliable
Speed is about right for the type of Broadband I have.

Long sob story about loyal customer mistreated.
Technically, my service has been plagued by semi-regular disconnects during peak hours and wildly inaccurate data metering.
I have also been told no VDSL despite being in range of the local exchange, and another flat in the block having it from a separate provider.
Cheap 12 months
Consistent speeds (though not the fastest)
Fast connection to new place (moved twice)
Questionable data metering
Non-transparent data billing for overages
Horrible phone support
Customer Account portal didn't work half the time

The speed is very slow. And more than the speed it is the stability which concerns me more.
