Slingshot Broadband offer ultrafast Fibre & Naked Broadband Plans for New Zealand.
Slingshot have a range of different Slingshot broadband plans available. Some Slingshot broadband plans include a home phone line whilst other broadband plans are like Slingshot Naked Broadband and don't have a home telephone line.
Slingshot does offer Slingshot Ultrafast Fibre Broadband and Slingshot broadband packages with different data limits and variable speeds.
The type of Slingshot broadband connection you can get depends on your address and area. Slingshot offer all types of broadband connection, Slingshot Fibre, Slingshot VDSL and Slingshot ADSL dependant on what is available in your broadband region.

Terrible experience. Signed up two weeks ago, was supposed to have connection a week ago and I'm still waiting. I've called them no less than ten times, they just don't give a f***. Lodged a fault and technician was supposed to come over to the house, but left a message saying "he couldn't make it". Have to wait two more days now. Customer service says that all I can do is "wait" WHAT A JOKE. SLINGSHOT WORST INTERNET SERVICE you have made me lost my time.

Been with them for years. Fairly internet savvy so been able to sort most connection or internet problems myself. On rare occasions I have called they were helpful. Earlier wait times were longer than I'd like but all good otherwise now.
Getting speeds up & down in excess of plan I pay for. Given upgrade last year for free on downloads from 30mps to 50 & improved speed getting close to that many days.

Been with Slingshot for a number of years - haven't had too many blips & am happy overall. Recently noticed that the prices for our current plan had come down on the website but we were still paying a higher amount. Gave customer service a call and they sorted that out straight away, and threw in 3 months of credit since they had been overcharging us $10 a month for 9 months. Been with Slingshot now since 2010 Phone and Internet Cost $90.00 and Toll call extra now I pay $90.00/month with Phone 100GB Internet free National Calling and International Calling Caller ID and other services. where as with Telecom before I was paying $115.00 for phone and Internet.

can be hard to understand some technical support & call centre actisense especially when they speak really fast, and need longer opening operating hours especially for there technical support

Very good technical support but unfriendly financial section.
Price is good and the technical support people very good.
Had a misadventure with the financial side with credits not being applied and no prior warning given. Would have changed ISP were it not for the calibre of their technical support people.

Slingshot routers only offer to 2.4G and not 5G - so Wifi speeds around the house are crap
They want us to upgrade to the $229 plan so we can have 5G
What a fucking joke
I have sent them an email asking them to provide the 5G capable router
Or I will cancel my subscription Request all monies payed be returned and move back to Vodafone to offer 5G
This is akin to theft and most Slingshot customers do know it

Adsl. Worst 9months of my interweb life. Worst connection always dropping out. Slowest speed ive ever had....worst than dial-up 10years ago!! Terrible customer service, went through a 10 part series of testing for Slingshot then they said said it might cost me $240 to look at it??! Paying early disconnection fee and lowering my blood pressure.
They never increased my bill without notice like vodafone did after 6years of loyalty.
This box isnt big enough to list all the negative aspects. You suck balls slingshot. .
