Have had nothing but terrible service from Slingshot and after putting up with it for too long we are on the move. Very unreliable network and no difference in speed when upgraded to Ultra Fast Fibre.
After several bad experiences i will NEVER recommend Slingshot to anyone.

I should have read the reviews first. Service dropped out regularly, wireless installation required more phonecalls to support than acceptable. We have just moved house and despite the fact that I gave plenty of notification of the move, we have been nearly THREE WEEKS without any hint of when the service might be reconnected. Every time I call, customer service says the same thing: "Awww, umm...we should know in 24-48 hours...ummm". A seriously shit company.
Customer service is virtually non-existent. They genuinely don't give a damn. Utterly useless service and crappy hardware.

incompetent support team who didn't know what UDP traffic was, nor would they do traceroutes to troubleshoot.
they will sign you up for a deal
You have to spend hours and hours on hold to do anything and then you reach incompetent support team.

I have been on the same plan for a couple of years at least(40gb for $70 odd with landline). Their new plans offer much better data BUT they have not advised me of any better options. Upon contacting them vis email I was informed I would have to sign a 12 month contract to avail myself of these improved options.
Connection has been reliable and generally good speed.
Getting to talk to a real person is very difficult.

Absolutely disgusted by this Internet providers ethics and communication. Would NOT recommend this to anyone EVER.
Overcharged billing account was then blocked, then charged an extra $200 worth of data AFTER account was closed on top of that.
They refuse to take any responsibility even with all evidence and statements provided.

unable to get a service for my mobile phone at Portobello. It also has little strength where I work at Corstorphine, Dunedin. I was not given any information about this when I signed up.

I switched to VDSL a year ago and never thought to check the speed until recently when I was having netflix problems. I has been gone above 16 Mbps, which VDSL pre ports to be a lot faster than that. I have done all the testing and still no luck. When I asked for help one several occasions online I was told to ring up and book an appointment.
