When we signed up for fiber with Vodafon, we received a new modem for the old copper.
It seems that every one is doing all sorts of deals to get new customers, but nothing to keep there existing ones?
With the copper we had no problem with speed or reliability so never had any issues with Vodafone.

Long-term customer leaving Vodafone as they only offer Fibre signup deals to NEW customers.
No complaints about the service, but one gets punished for loyalty these days

Worst customer service and problem shooting procedure.
I was paying for someone else's bill for 6 months as my direct debit was registered to another person's account. I had to repeat myself to explain what was wrong to 5 different people, being transferred over and over again. I always need to give myself an hour+ to talk to the customer service team on the phone. Eventually took me a week to finally talk to someone who knows what went wrong and can get the money refunded.
Nothing that I can recall to make my experience with vodafone better.

It seems like the rumour about using bad service as a customer strategy is true.
The will make anyone else's customer service seem amazing
Beware if you have any problems. Multiple phonecalls and hours wasted as you get assured things will get sorted - and then let down. Time and time and time again.

In general everything worked fine. Minor problems with Router upgrades. In the end, lack of flexibility in the contract termination and rudeness created bad feelings.

Broadband on the ex-TelstraClear cable - great for its time but past its prime now that Fibre is available.
Reasonable price for the data available and some ok bundling options with landline etc.
Monthly discount for having a Vodafone mobile account
Router/Modem supplied was poor quality and would drop out and require re-set at least a couple of times a week and sometimes multiple times a day

The customer service via phone was crap they can understand me I can understand them they overcharged me they didn't give me what they said I was going to get like 5 Max didn't get it
there are no pros to getting internet from Vodafone I'm out loud so much they told me I had needed a new computer because it my computer is slow but I got a new phone and the internet still slow
Vodafone SP telstraclear which was really good then Vodafone took over and I find them crap

Constantly feels like we're getting throttled in the evenings, massive ping spikes on pretty low bandwidth applications. Often times mobile devices take a loooong time to pick up packets and make a connection (regardless of router used).
Throttling, price, router is trash, they send you a bunch of cable TV crap.
