Vodafone are the second largest broadband provider in New Zealand. As one of the largest broadband providers in the country, Vodafone offer a broad range of plans with a variety of features and benefits to suit their customers – unlimited or capped plans, rural broadband plan, Fibre, VDSL or ADSL.

Vodafone offer some great value broadband plans and have a great reputation. The Vodafone Always Connected Promise applies to your home, fixed line, and broadband connection. If your home broadband stops working, the Vodafone service team will do their best to fix it straight away. If they can’t Customer Care will add enough mobile data to an eligible Vodafone mobile, so you can stay connected while they get it sorted.

Vodafone offer discounts if you bundle your mobile and broadband with them. Fridays will be your favourite day of the week with their Fantastic Friday offers and discounts, like cheap movie tickets, music and sport ticket and more. Vodafone Ninjas are available in store, online or on the phone to help with any technical questions

Have been very happy with Vodafone, excluding their off shore customer service for 15 years. Was on a very good deal but when contract was up they wanted to increase the cost of my plan so much that I have left them.

I spent nearly 2 years on the phone being passed around a call center t try and log a fault. Then one evening I asked to speak to a supervisor. I didn't get to talk to the supervisor as the call taker gave me PO to get a hot spot device with some credit on it so I had internet access finally. Not happy with these guys. I was unable to get another provider, for years as I found out when Contact Energy phoned me back and said my address was not listed as having a Fiber connection as Northpower had not updated their records. So between the 2 companies I've had to put up with sub standard internet service at a high cost to myself. ...read more

The phone customer service is shockingly incompetent and flat out lie to you. Don’t be fooled by the knowledgeable “ninjas” in that work in store, they actually know what they’re doing. The people you speak to on the phone, on the other hand, have no clue. Every single time I’ve called customer service they’ve either told me wrong things (that end up in me losing connectivity), contradict each other (if you call them about the same thing twice), deny they have records of me ever calling them (!!!) and say flat out ridiculous I things like “news.vodafone.co.nz” is not an official Vodafone site, “someone may be impersonating this”, and denying Information that’s on their site. The f*^k?! They’re expected to know a few things including what their domain name is (and how subdomains work) and what their plans are!! BBand did not cut out. Emails did not get lost.

The issue when Chorus connected Fibre - Vodafone avoided helping me fix land-line issue even after 9 months of asking. Cost me extra.

I have been with vodafone for decades - they have got worse and worse. Their customer service is TERRIBLE - every time you change address they over charge - but now the worse thing is the poor quality of the service - the amount of times the internet is unavailable at peak hours - and they do nothing

Vodafone Broadband has responded to Spark's Netflix partnership by teaming up with NEON to offer customers a 12 month subscription when they sign up to any Unlimited Broadband plan for a 12 or 24 month term.
