Spark Broadband

Digital technology can make a significant, positive impact on our nation's social and economic wellbeing – enabling stronger, safer, more connected communities (even in the most remote rural areas), opening more opportunities for our children (regardless of their socio-economic backgrounds), and improving health outcomes for New Zealanders of all ages and walks of life.

It can enable Kiwi companies to compete - and win - on the world stage and become smarter, more agile businesses by harnessing all the benefits of new technologies such as Cloud services and the Internet of Things.

Spark's success is dependent on our customers in one key market: New Zealand. That's why we're passionate about using technology to be truly useful to our customers, helping make our country better and enriching the lives of all New Zealanders. We want to be the most valued brand in the home, and the most trusted partner for business.

Really hard to understand foreign speakers. Hung up on in mid conversation. Not relaying actual info I am paying for. Sounds bored and uninterested in helping me.

Had no connection or reliability issues, just speed was too slow, had to turn off TV Netflix (through Vodafone TV) at times to download other files on laptop whilst working from home.

Spark is an excellent provider of UFB services. There are no complaints. I was on the 100/20 unlimited plan and had no problems with connectivity or performance. I am leaving them because they are removing Lightbox with no compensation and providing Neon at an extra cost. This arrogance doesn't fly when there are options in the market place that give us users the options to pick and choose and subscribe to services at will.
Pros
Solid performance
Cons
Large corporation mentality

We can only get a copper vdsl connection in my rural area and spark have been expensive with poor support during the time I have been with them. It was more of a case of spark/telecom being our our phone and dial up provider in the bad old days and they just kept adding costs and not much else! When they put the prices up this year and then dropped the lightbox offer I had finally had enough!
Pros
Reasonably reliable but only after I resolved a connection/junction issue at the telephone pole at my own cost!
Cons
Total rip off for very little benefit in return.
