we are paying for broadband and a lot of the time the speed is 0.80 or less there is fibre on our road but they well not hook any one up to it so we have to put up with slow speeds and some times we can not get on line
all we get from them is they is nothing wrong with our gear its because you are 6k from the exchange and you are on copper then we get billed $140.00 for then to have checked the line
nothing going for them
all they are after is your money
very poor service

the worst company i have ever dealt with
I purchased fibre 12 months ago and have nothing but poor speed no service, and no support. I gave up complaining six months ago as spark did not seem interested in any problem at all , so I just waited until my contract ran out and then just changed to another provider

Tried to upgrade to fibre 100. 2 months later, being billed for fibre 100 and yet to receive this service. Hopeless technical support.

Great products but one of the most expensive
Reliability, quick to sort a problem, professional
Too expensive, charge for keeping email address if you leave their company

See CONS - rip off
Easy quick setup
VERY ANNOYED - Beware anyone who 'upgrades' to 4G network on Sparks recommendation. Internet crud since installed, alarm system compromised and extremely expensive technician and parts updates required to work since - wh ...read more

Worst internet company I've ever been with. Took them weeks to install Fibre after we had bought it, and then they delivered us an ADSL/VDSL modem, when we were paying for a Fibre plan. The Fibre modem we DID get was cheaply-made and had a relatively slow connection for Fibre. Now it has broken and will take over a week for a new one to be delivered.
- They give you 20GB of "emergency data" when your modem f**ks up. (Which is apparently very common for Spark users.)
- I am really trying to think of another pro but can't.
- They'll probably try to scam you. Don't buy a year-long plan and make sure your modem has fibre capabilities.
- Really poor customer service.
- Slow internet for the type you choose (ADSL, VDSL, Fibre etc.)
- Weak, ...read more

left them because after i quit sky and started watching netflix my broadband bill doubled and I never realized for over 2 months, never had any calls advising me that I was paying between double to triple what I should be, and suggesting a better plan, as I used to get with the mobile plan. So, after 20 + years with them (mobile, landline, and later on, broadband) I shifted providers. Now paying less than I was on a 120 gig limit plan, and getting unlimited internet.
too dear and not interested in matching lower prices

For the past week our internet has been patchy, coming on and off, both on wifi and on the wired connection to the PC. We keep rebooting the modem but it doesn't fix the problem. We have naked broadband, unlimited data and although Spark gave us a good deal (lower than advertised) to keep us as customers, if it doesn't actually do the job then it's not good value.
We can't get hold of anyone at the service centre to help so far. Super frustrating. So we're now shopping for a ...read more
It was already set up.
It doesn't work. The wifi is patchy and the service keeps coming on and off, which makes chrome-casting movies and TV shows a frustrating nightmare.
This has now been ongoing for about a week.
